Goal: Enabling networking and exchange of experience between the pioneers and enterprises that implement SuisseID into their web applications. Furthermore, people and companies interested in SuisseID can gather information on the topic SuisseID.

Thanks to OpenID, the Amazee platform is already OpenID enabled by using Clavid!

Every owner of a SuisseID is therefore capable to use OpenID with SuisseID. That gives direct access OpenID enabled sites using the strong authentication possibility of SuisseID. As a result, the SuisseID can be used for thousands of web sites already enabled for OpenID.

Just one month before the actual SuisseID launch, Clavid’s OpenID service is already fully SuisseID enabled and therefore the first public online service supporting SuisseID.

The OpenID & OWASP Application Security Forum 2010, held on March 4th 2010 in Geneva, was a great success. Many topics such as strong authentication, OpenID, SuisseID have been presented by OpenID Switzerland (Silvan Maret, Robert Ott) as well as OWASP Geneva (Antonio Fontes). Every participant got a free YubiKey from Yubico which can be used with the free OpenID & SAML identity provider Clavid.
